The requirement

ARCH-R276 — The journal MUST record a change to a secret by the fingerprint of its value before and after the change, and MUST NOT hold a secret's value, sealed or otherwise; the secret store MUST keep each secret's one previous value, and undoing the change MUST restore it only while the values the store holds match the fingerprints the entry recorded, and otherwise MUST say the secret must be replaced at the terminal, naming it.
